1st Week of the Hols [Updated]
Oh dear, so much has happened and I’ve neglected to update constantly. Anyway, it’s a Sunday night, I’m bored and so I shall blog.
Stayed over at Darren’s house last Tuesday. Went home with Yvonne after training at KA, which by the way is a cheap form of ego booster for me. Haha, it’s good and bad at the same time, how oxymoronic. Like my ego is inflating a bit, which is good as long as it’s not too big, but at the same time I know that I probably won’t improve much. Oh well, I’m rolling with the punches people.
Big shout out to YY who was very nice and treated all of us to pizza, sort of our supper if you will. The whole night spent over at Darren’s place pretty much involved just hanging out and pigging around. Sat around the dining table when I first arrived, waiting for the rest of the divas who had yet to reach. YY and I had a three person commentary about The Prestige. It sounds really good and I may get the DVD when it comes out. Haha, YY was rather freaked out in the process of hearing the story, but thankfully she didn’t explode.
The rest of the night was spent in Darren’s room eating pizza, talking, laughing, discussing totally random stuff and watching both Youtube and DVDs. I think I was third or second to hit the sack and was fortunate enough to have the entire bed to myself! Haha, I was surprised no one tried to push me off and roll me to one side. Oh, haha, maybe they tried and couldn’t. Ate breakfast in his room the next morning and took off after that because everyone else had something to do. Thinking back, I wonder to myself, why didn’t we play mah-jong?!
The group of us went to KBOX on Thursday. The one place in the whole of Singapore where winter wear actually comes in handy would be one of the rooms at KBOX. The place was freezing cold and the best part was that we couldn’t turn the temperature down because it was controlled by the entire building. I wore a hat that day and my hair was pretty much screwed up after that, haha. Somehow, the KBOX personnel were nice enough to let us stay an extra hour after we paid. Either they couldn’t be bothered or they were too embarrassed to have to chase us out.
Argh, attended little shop of horrors after that and it was by far the worse play EVER! Even before the play started, things were already starting to go wrong. We spent half an hour looking for Victoria Concert Hall and ended up walking one huge round around city hall before we reached the place in the nick of time. But the cherry/icing on the cake would have to be the wickedly boring ending which sucked so bad the producer, who I assume is Tan Kheng Hua, should be sued.

Class party on Friday, travelled in the blistering sun with Si Hui to Zong He’s house. Haha, I don’t know if I should reveal this, but Si Hui and I did not actually climb the gate. Haha, someone did in fact come to the side gate and we managed to slip in before Isabelle got there to open the side gate for us. The best part was when we hid at the Emerald building and ran to the Pearl Building when Isabelle had walked by us without even noticing us. Went up to his place for a while and sat around before more people came and we went down to the pool side to prepare the food.
Our party was more or less just sitting around, talking and stealing food, lol. Oh and I forgot to add cam whoring. Lots of photos taken and lots of memories captured, the best part of the night was when we sat down all over the place to eat and talk and take photos. No one wanted to eat my potato though, ended up throwing most of it away. :( Oh and I think a large amount of Gelare ice cream was wasted because we took so long to eat that a lot of it melted and some people were actually drinking the melted ice cream, or should I call it Milkshake?
Of course, at the end of the night, there was the ever famous dunking of people. However, we had to stop after throwing in four people because the security guard was complaining. We each walked away with a card that everyone else had written for us, and a photo montage, courtesy of Marjorie. It seems people either remember me as he-who-should-not-tau-pok or the person with the memory-lasting laugh. Haha, I don't even know if thats a good or bad thing.

Symposium the next day, to me, was pointless. The summarised version would be that we went to collect our rewind package, our subject combination and for my elective, our elective report. After that, it was just listening to Edison Liu put most of us to sleep and wander around school attending random presentations to kill time. Even the food was terrible, how disappointing. I bought my blazer that day though. Haha, went to orchard and ate lunch at Long Johns. Shopped around Far East for a bit, making sure I had the best deal, before I made my purchase and left.
Yay, prom is getting closer, haha, and nearly everyone is wearing black. I got a new Ipod and I have totally no idea how to work it. Haha, so anyone who is IT or Ipod savvy, help!
