Hur hur, this week turned out to be not so boring after all. I thought that I would die of boredom on Monday, even though I don’t know of anyone who has ever died of boredom before. However, I managed to find people to go out with on Wednesday, Thursday and on Friday. I don't dare to imagine how dull life will be after prom, with the need to shop gone, I will start rotting at home.
Tuesday’s training was another ego booster. I hope that it would start to be more often than once a week because training is probably the only form of exercise I will ever get seeing as how I am too lazy to drag my ass out of the couch or bed to go run. Trainings have been fun I suppose, but I don’t really enjoy travelling so far to get to KACC. Haha, okay, I shall not complain.
Rachel, Clara and I brought Isabelle prom shopping on Wednesday and made sure that she at least got her dress by the end of the day. I think it’s safe to exaggerate and say that we covered the entire Fareast building and some of the shops at Wisma too. Haha, another girl from V12 got a black dress. This means that literally everyone except Tina and Vaishali, I think, have gotten themselves black dress. People may actually think that our class may have a colour dress code or something. I think there will definately be variations for guys. Haha, girls usually have to worry about having a clone at prom. I think as long as you mix and match for guys, you will be unique?(Is that the right word to use? Haha.)
Armani Exchange Jeans girl had to leave for facial, haha, so it was only Rach, Isa and I left. We managed to get Isa some shoes from Heeren by the end of the day. I almost vomited blood trying to convince Isa that getting new shoes was important. Haha, and it was also rather challenging to find a dress for her. Fareast is not an easy place to look for prom clothes. On a totally random note, today was a memorable day, I ate pepper lunch for the first time and it was heavenly. Dying calves and curfews encouraged us to continue shopping the next day.
So on Thursday, Rach, Isa and I went to Bugis. We visited Icon, the whole of Bugis shopping center and Bugis market. Haha, it was the first time I went to Icon and it was pretty much the same as Bugis Market, except that the entire place was air-conditioned. Both Rachel and Isabelle managed to get themselves their accessories and Isabelle finally got her clutch from Dorothy Perkins. Didn’t buy anything because all the shops they went to were girls shop. And besides, I wasn’t looking for anything and didn’t feel like buying anything. Haha. It rained on Thursday, and it rained today too.
I went out in the evening with Yvonne and Audrey to orchard to shop even more for prom stuff. Tsk tsk tsk, both divas were late and I was in a dilemma. Yvonne was not only late, her phone had no battery. So I ended up calling her sixteen times, hoping that I would be able to get hold of her. When crazy arrived, we walked to tangs and got a call from Yvonne. Thank god she thought of calling us with a payphone. We walked around Fareast and made Yvonne try out dresses at Urban Mix. Haha, its hard shopping for her cause she is short and the dress which are supposed to be knee length ended up at her knees.
We ate pepper lunch for dinner! Haha, second time in a week, I’ll probably get sick of it soon. Audrey was on the look out for salons which did hair and make up. But we didn’t manage to find anything within budget. We didn’t manage to find accessories and clutches for the girls too, so the shopping trip was basically about hanging out and eating good food. :)
Argh, I hate it when I’m in some kind of outdoor place and its raining. It wasn’t that bad on Thursday because I was wearing shoes and Bugis market and Icon weren’t far from Bugis shopping center. But it was definitely quite bad today because when you go orchard, you have to walk a lot. To make things worse, I was wearing slippers and the tiles along orchard seem to be extra slippery. Bah. Note to self, wear shoes on rainy days and on days that seem like it may rain.
Lol, Project Superstar is freaking funny! I think the funniest was the woman who sang "Lu Ji" or stew chicken. Haha, I swear I laughed so hard I think I suffered from stitches after that. Sighs, but this is so depressing, the scenes with the horrible singers only lasted for two episodes.
Prom is getting even closer! Haha, those people who have yet to get clothes for prom better hussle!
