100th POST !!!
Haha, oh how special. This is my 100th entry for this blog. After almost a year, I finally reached the 100th entry!!!
I’ve finally returned to my sweet abode after being away for 2 days. Being away for such a period of time has made me more appreciative of my room. It’s made me value the importance of my air con, the lack of mosquitoes in my room and the nice dry air which prevents my skin from getting sticky at night.
As mentioned in the previous entry, I fuckreaking overslept on Thursday. I think I wouldn’t have even rolled out of bed if someone hadn’t called me on my handphone. I’ve yet to get over the fact that I actually overslept! I believe that either my mom switched off my alarm because she didn’t know I had training, or somehow, I myself switched off the alarm and unknowingly went back to sleep. There’s a high chance that it is the former because it wouldn’t be the first time my mom did something like that.
Anyway, I got up and got ready to go to the chalet. Lazed around at home until I got the sms telling me to go to the bus stop to wait for the bus. We had quite a bad start to the chalet, first having trouble finding the place, and second, having trouble getting into the chalet. Haha, I can’t believe the key broke in the key hole! And for those who think that it’s me (somehow people perceive me to be violent), it wasn’t. Haha, it was our dear captain. Maybe too much gym isn’t always a good thing, haha. Damn, wish I had taken a photo of the broken key.
It took a while, but someone from the chalet management finally came down to help us open the gate with the master key. The place wasn’t as filthy as I thought it would be. And it was nice and big and breezy. People got settled down, chose their rooms and started making the place more habitable. We moved up the tables and chairs so that we wouldn’t have to climb up and down the chalet. It wasn’t long before we broke out the cards and mah-jong. Everyone played until it was time for dinner.
For the first time in my life, I walked to Changi Village. Haha, usually my parents drive me there for dinner. But this time, we actually walked from the chalet to Changi Village. Had the famous Nasi Lemak, which didn’t turn out to be as fantastic as many said it would be.
I spent the rest of the night back at the chalet basically watching people play mah-jong until the wee hours of the morning.

I think I’m a jinx when I’m sitting down. Haha, so I moved away after a while to watch some television. We ordered Mac breakfast after they were done with the game and I got totally ripped off. If anyone ever wants to buy Mac breakfast, don’t be stupid like me and buy just a burger. It’s much more worth it to get a whole meal instead. Sat around in the room and chatted a bit before dozing off to sleep. No one wanted to take photos because I didn’t want to say what my Chinese name was!!! Those who know better shut up. :) Haha, got up the next morning at around 9.50 and booked out.
I headed home and nearly died along the way because I had to go to the toilet badly. Thankfully, I live nearby. For once, I had a direct bus to a chalet. Slept for the rest of the day and got up somewhere near evening time to get ready to go out for Christmas dinner!!!
Haha, we were supposed to go to the place that Xiaxue advertised on her blog. If I’m not wrong, the place is called Indulgz Bistro. However, it seemed that someone had booked the entire place, for a dinner party perhaps? So Audrey quickly made reservations for Crystal Jade instead.

Dinner was great. I was a bit concerned with the fact that the particular Crystal Jade we went to was Macau and not Kitchen. They didn’t have porridge/congee there, so I ended up eating something else. But the food was good nonetheless, and I realised I really like the green chilli they provided there. Haha, okay, that was really random, but while eating the dish with the green chilli, I realised their green chilli is a lot sweeter than other green chilli and it goes really well with their dishes.
Strolled around bugis for a while before heading to YY’s house for sleepover!!!

We hung out in her living room, eating and watching the tube at the same time. After exchanging presents and cards, we went up to her room. Our sleepovers are more or less the same if you ask me, hanging out, talking and falling asleep soon after. Sigh, what happened to the old times where we all managed to stay up for almost the whole night? Now, I’m one of the first to hit the sack.

Woke up pretty early the next morning, around 7.00 I think. Lied around on the mattresses and talked about random stuff until the grogginess of waking up so early wore off. Had breakfast and watched Ice Age. Haha, we seem to always watch Disney movies at YY’s house. First it was Finding Nemo, now Ice Age, what next? We left after the movie was over because there weren’t enough people to go out for lunch.
 Eating Tang Yuan!!! Haha.
Wanted to sleep in the afternoon, but I took a shower and now I’m not sleepy anymore. Argh! I’ve yet to receive my present. But at least now I know who my Secret Santa is. And I’ve yet to give out all my cards. I didn’t buy any stamp so the only way I can give the cards out is by meeting up with people. Haha, hopefully the class party will be planned soon.
NOTE:// Isa and Ben apparently know their OG already! AH! Haha, I'm both excited and worried at the same time to find out what's mine. Maybe anxious is the right word to use. I'm still praying REALLY hard to get nice OGLS and nice people in my og. But it'll take a xmas miracle for that to come true. Oh well, hope for the best but expect the worse!
