Of Raining* Edited

What a miserable day, it’s been pouring since before I even got up and it’s still raining now. That’s like 6.am till midnight, non-stop raining. The worse part is that I couldn’t be slacking at home enjoying the cool weather. I had to lug my sorry ass out of bed this morning to get to VS for training. Initially I wanted to come up with some lame reason to not go but I decided against it in the end. No idea why I did, but I did and I’m glad I did.

I started the morning with no breakfast because I forgot to inform anyone that I had training. Than I had to trek my way through flooded roads filled with muck and other decomposing stuff to the bus stop. The best part was when the bus drove right pass me and I had to dash across the busy street lest I run the risk of missing it. Got of and switched buses twice because I was running late and had to reach the place as soon as possible. Nearly got splashed by bus number 12 because it was badly flooded at the TJC bus stop. Feel asleep standing up and nearly missed my stop if not for 4 VS guys who woke me up.

Reached VS and sat around chatting till the coach came. We ended up doing gym because it was still raining and there were no signs of the rain letting up. VS gym, way better than VJ’s gym. Ugh, but it’s been so long since I’ve done any form of weight lifting except lifting my own weight everyday. Didn’t really complete all ten sets of everything like we were supposed to, felt quite nauseous after doing the sit-ups and back arch thingy. Well, at least I completed one or two things, and I got to try out some of the machines that I’ve never used at VJ before.


I saw this photo on one of the notice board. If you can't really see it, it's a picture of the J1s when they were sec 1 or 2 in VS. Haha, it cracks me up.

A few of us hung around after gym to dig some balls while some others went to play street soccer in the rain. Than we all went to KFC after that for lunch. I got totally freaked out by this CAT high guy whom we saw at KFC with a bunch of OGLS from the letter R (haha, I still don’t know the names of the OGs yet). I mean like seriously, I’ve never ran into any VJC student as scary as him before. I just pray I don’t get him as an OGL. In fact I’m praying that I don’t get a lot of other people as my OGL, haha but somehow I know that all that hoping and wishing won’t come true and I’ll end up with some crappy group, I always do.

Trekked home after all of that in the torrential rain. Missed bus number 2 when I got to bedok so I took a train back with Yi Liang and we ran into this girl who was talking to her reflection on the train. Haha, kind of reminds me of that fish in Finding Nemo who thought her reflection was her twin sister.

Argh bollocks, I’m feeling really guilty for eating Ultimate Chicken Meal for lunch and two waffles for dinner. Oh but good news for me, I just lost another kilo, haha so that’s 4 KG in all that I’ve lost. Bah, and I’ve also yet to finish making the Christmas cards. Boo hoo, there’s still so much to do and I’m feeling too lazy to get down finishing making all of them. Don’t expect much from the cards, I myself think I did a horrible job and I think they turned out to be quite ugly, or at least the handwriting is atrocious lah. ARGH! And there’s also the Secret Santa present to get and I’ve no idea what to get! Rah, shall go shopping after work tomorrow and hopefully I’ll come across something nice. And and hopefully I remember to bring my camera on Thursday and Friday for VJVB chalet and XMAS dinner with the gang! Haha, this way I won't have to wait eons for the photos to arrive, like how it's taking so long for me to get 3G gathering photos!!!
