P6 Gathering and IPO 2006

Oh shit, I just went to cut my hair and the hairdresser, sensing that school is reopening, decided to give me a neater hair cut. And now I look like a dork. Sighs, another case of bad haircut, hopefully with enough shampooing and three days allowance, it will look somewhat human by the time I return to school.

Pretty much rotting at home today, which I can’t really complain because I’m quite tired and I could use the rest. Computer connection has been pretty warped since the earthquake hit Taiwan a few days ago. However, I think it’s getting better now.

I went out on Thursday to meet up with some primary school friends. Oh joy, I wouldn’t say that I was entirely eager to meet up with ALL of them again. I guess you can say that I went to catch up with some of my primary school friends. Of course, some of them are still as immature as ever. Somehow saying that makes me some immature too huh? Haha, oh the irony of it all. I just can’t stand petty people, hopefully I’m not petty, if not I’m pretty much shooting myself in the leg. But seriously, petty people get to me. I wish I could slap them sometimes. There’s a fine line between being jokingly angry and being angry over something really minor. Anyway, I was glad to meet those that I went there to meet. And it’s really just one or two people that I can’t stand.

We were originally supposed to go to Pasir Ris Park, but the torrential rain showed no signs of letting up. So we headed to Swensons at Changi Airport instead. I felt super under-dressed because I had worn something really casual, thinking that we may somehow still be going to Pasir Ris Park. The clothes that some people turned up in really made me think what would happen if we did in fact go to Pasir Ris Park to cycle or something. I mean jeans, sneakers, jackets and high heels?!

Vanessa, Me and Michael at Swensons.

Group Shot, not very well taken because the person whom we got seemed to be in a hurry to leave.

Jiemeis, with a missing person because she chose to stay at home and be in front of the computer. Or so I heard. Coincidentally, we all took bus 53! xD

VJC students of 2007! Haha, our failed attempt to do a VJC hand sign.

Got home really late that night, maybe around midnight, because we had sat around at the viewing gallery and chatted until really late before we left the place. Plopped to bed after showering but it wasn’t enough sleep for me because I dragged myself out of bed the next morning to go to school to crash IP orientation. Haha, I bring fatigue upon myself.

IP orientation was an experience. Haha, I wouldn’t say that it was fun, but at the same time I wouldn’t say that it was boring. And I can’t really comment if this year’s one was better or last year’s one was better because I only went for this year’s one. All I can say is that I felt really old for once in my life because for the past four years, I’ve always been a junior. Like secondary 1 and 2 and IP1 and 2, I’m finally like a 3. Haha, an IP3 to be exact. And it was quite nice cheering for 07V12, helping there have an edge over the other classes. Hopefully they’ll turn out to be nice; it’s still too early to judge. ><’’ I’ve finally gotten the Zinc Discount Card and found my Converse Discount card. In desperate need for a new bag and shoes, hence I shall bug people to go shopping with me soon. Haha, I’m also anticipating the arrival of O1 and the call from my sickening and hopefully forgetful instead of irresponsible OGL.
